Looking for an extreme way to get people talking about sustainable living?
Professor Dr. Jeff Wilson of Austin, Texas was, so he decided to sell his belongings and move into a 36 square foot dumpster where he’s been living for the last six months. You can’t get much more extreme than that.
He’s organized his project into phases. He recently added a washer and dryer, and intends to install solar panels during the next phase as part of his focus on renewable energy. You can follow his progress at dumpsterproject.org.
I have to wonder, when Dr. Wilson does a presentation on his dumpster living adventure, does he call it a “trash talk?”
